We were commissioned by Manchester’s newest million-pound hair and beauty salon, House of Evelyn. For their promotional event we took shots of the interior and exterior for their website and promotional materials, as well as the staff headshots. Here are a selective few images from the shoot:

We photograph weddings as well as engagement parties all year round and last Saturday we were invited by our lovely clients Majed and Destina to capture their engagement party.
We arrived half an hour early to the venue, in order to take a few family photographs before the guests started to arrive.
After capturing the formal photos, we adapted our photography to capture natural moments (the candid shots). We captured the guests as they arrived, the speeches, the presentation of the ring to Destina and of course the happy moments of the party.
Majed and Destina’s closest friends provided the heart warming speeches. We captured the couple’s and the guests reaction to the speeches and the funny video prepared by Majed’s best friends.
With our extremely fast tun-around of editing, we were able to deliver the high resolution photos within 48 hours via a secure online gallery to our client. The happy couple were extremely pleased with the photographs, stating and we quote: “We cherish these photos for a very long time to come”.
Last weekend we headed to capture a very special 21st birthday, Billie & Evie’s joint birthday party in Cheshire. The party was held at their residence in an spectacular tipi. We captured a few formal family photos at the beginning of the evening and continued capturing natural shots and any other photos the guests asked for as the celebration continued in to the evening.

For the 3rd year running, we were invited by UCLAN to shoot their Music Theatre’s course end of the year ball. As with all of our prom and end of the year ball photography packages, we started the evening by taking formal photographs against our professionally lit backdrops for the first hour. After some time the guests were invited in for their sit down meal, during this we continued capturing natural and candid photographs of the guests enjoying their evening. We ended the event by photographing the award winner, and few shots of all the guests demonstrating their best dance moves!
We delivered the images via a password protected online gallery to the students within 24 hours, and they had full access to the whole album, allowing them to downloaded as many photos as possible.
The staff from WorkR’s Manchester and London offices attended their annual party at Neighbourhood bar in Manchester. The party was Gatsby themed and everyone dressed to impress.
We were asked to capture the mood and essence of the party. Using our many years of event photography experience in Manchester, we mixed in with the crowd and captured a mixture of natural and posed images. We delivered the images in less than 48 hours to our client and they were very pleased and impressed with the service they received. We’ll let the images to speak for themselves :

December is the start of corporate Christmas parties for us. One of the first Christmas parties we shot last week was for Manchester Young Solicitors Group (MYSG) at Gotham Hotel in Manchester.
Our client hired the brass bar on top floor of Gotham. Jazz Singer , Alexander Stwewart, provided the Christmas songs and it was a great hit with the guests.

The nursing profession is the backbone of the NHS without their caring and tireless work the services we rely on simply would not function. Tangerine Event Photography was given the opportunity to play a small role in recognising the true value of the nurses in Manchester by shooting a prestigious evening.
Manchester Royal Infirmary Hospital held their annual nurses recognition awards evening at Marriot Victoria & Albert hotel last week. This was an intimate evening attended by some of the most outstanding nurses at the hospital. Tangerine Event Photography would like to say congratulations to the winners during the evening, and thank all those working in the nursing profession for their hard work.

Halloween in the city was back again this year in Manchester City Centre. Giant inflatable monsters could be seen on Manchester’s landmarks, such as House of Fraser, Manchester Arndale, Market Street and Manchester Hall to name a few.
The spooky festivities held entertainment for all the family, such as a treat or trick trail spread around city centre with prizes to be collected at each spot; enchanted forest and magic School at St. Anne’s Square; and a ghostly world record attempt at Exchange Square, which unfortunately fell slightly short to break the world record.
Visitors were also entertained by the Strolling Bones; the stilt walkers, unicycle performers and dancers, who were accompanied by a live band. This eerie procession walked through Arndale Shopping Centre, making their way up to market street once every hour. On Sunday, the annual Spooky Pooch Costume Show was back. We saw dogs dresses and superhero’s, skeletons and spiders as they took to the 'dogwalk' to compete for prizes.

Redrow, one of the largest British house builders, held their annual charity ball at the Chester Racecourse earlier this month. The guests had their formal photos taken upon arrival against our white backdrop and they were given prints souvenirs at the end of the evening. We also took candid and posed photos throughout the night, ensuring every moment was captured.
The aim of this event was to raise much needed funds for Hope House Hospice. They guest’s generosity raised over £40,000 on the night. This was a great event for a great cause to be a part of.
Jamie & Adam, the co-founders of the online fashion retailers In The Style, celebrated their engagement last Saturday at the Impossible Bar in Manchester. This was a lavish event to celebrate two people very much in love. Amongst the guests, there were a few familiar faces from reality tv including Charlotte Crosby, Joshua Ritchie, Dani Dyer, Samira Mighty, Chloe Ferry, Sophie Kasaei.
It was an evening of celebrations, we’d like to congratulate the happy couple on their engagement, and wish them a happy future together.

ManCub a brand new clothing brand from Manchester, launched their products at the Mengerie Restaurant last weekend. ManCub company that focuses on providing elegant clothing for father & son, uncle & nephew or any other man and cub combination.
The event boosted music fittingly provided by father & son, Jack & Tim from Britain’s Got Talent, and ended with a fashion runway of father and son models, showcasing the brand’s new clothing designs.
We photograph birthday parties in Manchester and Cheshire quite often, and we were invited to shoot Harrison’s big 21st birthday party last week. The birthday was held at Broadhurst Park, FC United’s Stadium, and it was attended by close friends and family. Casino tables, Magic Mirror photo booth and live caricaturist made it a very fun event for the guests.

This summer we’ve had an abundance of weddings, but August was most certainly the month of weddings for us. One such weddings we shot was for the lovely couple Ami & Nam who got married at The Plough in Congelton, Cheshire.
The couple booked two of our photographers (Eddy & Alex) to document their special day. We started the morning by shooting the groom and bride’s preparations all the way through their first dance as a married couple. The venue was hand decorated, each table had a special theme and games. Despite the heat the UK has recently experienced, the great British tradition of rain made a grand appearance for Ami and Nam’s special day, undeterred by the sudden arrival of the rain the guests and the couple had a great time and enjoyed their day.

Brockmans Premium Gin uses the concept of the pop-up bar to travel the country offering a unique experience of pressing a button for gin, complete with delicious food, gin special recipes and live entertainment. Following six sell-out events across London, Glasgow and Edinburgh, Brockmans brought their ‘press for gin’ party to Manchester for 3 nights this month, where we were commissioned to shoot the standout event.
The event was held at The Monastery in Manchester, which was an ideal venue, with its incomparable architecture, allowing for impressive photographs. The guests were served four exquisite courses alongside gin cocktails, coupled with the live entertainment of ankle grinders, singers and hoop aerial artist as well as a best selfie competition.

Birthdays are always important occasions; a time to celebrate, reflect and give thanks. However, a 40th birthday is a truly momentous occasion and for this reason Gemma organised and threw a surprise birthday party for her husband James.
Last month James turned 40, and his adoring wife threw a surprise party at the Grand Pacific in Spinningfields, which our team was invited to photograph. Gemma went to great lengths to ensure James was completely unaware of the surprise, and this was evident in his shock to seeing his close friends and family there to celebrate with him, helping him create many more happy memories. We find birthdays are always enjoyable events to shoot but surprise parties are much more entertaining.
Last month Kate and Joe were married abroad in an intimate ceremony. To celebrate this joyous occasion they threw a wedding party for their friends and family back in the UK last weekend at Swettenham Arms in Cheshire. For this happy event Kate and Joe asked us at Tangerine Photograph to shoot the guest and couple in outdoor portraits. As the weather for the day was a beautiful rare sunny day in the UK, Kate and Joe held outdoor games and other fun activities for their guests.

Last weekend Tangerine Photography was asked to shoot Catherine’s special birthday party, the theme for the event was 80s/90s artist. Catherine held pre-drinks at Launderette Bar which was followed by a bus tour around Manchester, and Murder Mystery event in Manchester235 Casino

For the second year running, we were invited back by UCLAN’s to shoot the Music Theatre’s end of the year ball. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event, everyone made a great effort in the evening, celebrating another year of success. For this special event we setup our portable studio for the students to have their formal photos taken upon arrival. Later on we took candid shots of the students as they celebrated. Throughout the night, we were on hand for any photo request; making sure the students have plenty of memories from the night.

Molly Maid, one of UK’s longest serving cleaning service with over 30 years’ experience, held their annual convention at Rookery Hall Hotel in Cheshire. The convention was concluded with an awards evening, celebrating the company’s best performers in 2017. We provided the event photography throughout the convention and awards evening as well as providing on site prints for the guests to take home.
