For the 3rd year running, we were invited by UCLAN to shoot their Music Theatre’s course end of the year ball. As with all of our prom and end of the year ball photography packages, we started the evening by taking formal photographs against our professionally lit backdrops for the first hour. After some time the guests were invited in for their sit down meal, during this we continued capturing natural and candid photographs of the guests enjoying their evening. We ended the event by photographing the award winner, and few shots of all the guests demonstrating their best dance moves!
We delivered the images via a password protected online gallery to the students within 24 hours, and they had full access to the whole album, allowing them to downloaded as many photos as possible.
Tangerine HQ is based in Manchester City Centre but from time to time we do travel further up and down the UK to shoot for our clients. This time our client, AESSEAL, commissioned us to capture their 40th anniversary party at Sheffield City Hall Ballroom. AESSEAL, is a world leading producer of mechanical seals and has international offices all over the globe.
This was our first time shooting at the Sheffield City Hall Ballroom which is a Grade II listed building, and we were blown away by the art-deco ballroom and features. It was a fantastic setting for such a special occasion.
AESSEAL asked for natural and candid photos to document the evening and we did so by blending in the crowd and photographing in an un-obtrusive manner.
We delivered the photos within 24 hours to our client and they were absolutely delighted with the imagery.

Elemental, the social prescribing people, held their very first networking event at the Refuge bar in Manchester. Social prescribing is a growing movement that connect people with a range of non-clinical programmes, services and events in their local community – like mental health counselling, employability skills, volunteering, healthy cooking programmes and so on.

The EY Foundation is a charity that works with young people in the UK to help them realise their career ambition and give them a head start in their career.
We were commissioned to attend EY’s work placement graduation ceremony in Manchester. The event was to celebrate the end of a three week internship for the participants. Our role was to capture vibrant, fresh and energetic images that portrayed the programme in the best way possible.

For the second year running, we were invited back by UCLAN’s to shoot the Music Theatre’s end of the year ball. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event, everyone made a great effort in the evening, celebrating another year of success. For this special event we setup our portable studio for the students to have their formal photos taken upon arrival. Later on we took candid shots of the students as they celebrated. Throughout the night, we were on hand for any photo request; making sure the students have plenty of memories from the night.

Creative Head Magazine is the UK’s leading magazine for hairdressing professionals. They held another instalment of their famous Coterie sessions in Manchester (for the first time). This session was all about branding, discussing how hairdressers and salons can stand out from the crowd; creating their own path and their own area in the industry. With guest speakers Jayson Gray, Bruce Masefield and Yolanda O’Leary, it was an intriguing session. Here are some of the highlights from the evening:

The weird and wonderful Junkyard Golf Club in Manchester, hosted a special event on Valentine's Day this year in conjunction with Love Support Unite charity. It was a fun evening for a great cause as all golf proceeds were donated to the charity. Here are some of our highlights:

For our first job of 2018, we were photographing the call up ceremony for Toby’s Bar Mitzvah. The following Saturday, we headed to Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester Airport, to shoot the Bar Mitzvah celebrations. The theme of the special event was winter wonderland, and the decorations were carefully picked to match the important event in Toby’s life. The room looked stunning, making it a joy to photograph. With his family and friends in full attendance, this was a fantastic, upbeat celebration for Toby’s Bar Mitzvah.

For the 4th year running we shot CHEP’s Christmas party. Every year the company throws an amazing party to celebrate the end of the year, and it did not disappoint this year. The party was held at On The 7th Private Bar in Media City, and with live band and prize giveaways, it was a memorable night.

The latest surprise birthday party we shot this year was for Simone’s 30th. Organised by her family and friends, it was a shock to say the least for Simone. This event was very well-designed by the family, with the party taking place in a magical giant tipi. Although it was a very cold night, inside the tipi was rather warm with the open fire pit. Guests were kept entertained with a free bar, homemade pizza and with the entertainment provided by Six15 Artist Management. We would like to say a special thank you to the family of Simone for making us feel so very welcome at this special event, it was a great party and a pleasure to photograph.

For Halloween we shot the Day of the Dead themed event at Junkyard Golf Club. Junkyard, which has recently moved premises to Home, put on a fantastic event with fire performers, magicians and suitably spooky décor. This Halloween even was very enjoyable to photograph and we highly recommend visit this venue for a mini-golf fun!

Recently, we were commissioned by Watches of Switzerland to shoot the exclusive launch of their new flagship store in Manchester. The store refurbishment took an impressive three months to complete, with £1.2 million spent on the design. This luxury trademark is dedicated to providing Swiss brands such as, Patek Phillipe, Panerai, Hublot, Zenith, IWC, Omega and Rolex to name a few. The evening event was attended by a selected few members showcasing some of the most exclusive watches in the UK.

Northern Finance Director Awards celebrates the exceptional talent of Finance Directors and their teams across the North of England. This year the awards was hosted at Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel in Manchester. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners.

Since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University 4 years ago, we have taken regular bookings from the university to cover their important events such as, freshers week, comedy nights, award events, and gala nights. Two weeks ago we were invited to shoot their annual teaching awards; a prestigious award voted by the students and shortlisted by university’s panel. A total of 11 awards were presented including ‘The Award for Outstanding Achievement’, ‘Outstanding Innovation in Teaching’ and ‘Outstanding Feedback’.
Chieko Yonezawa won the much-anticipated Teacher of the Year award, and the Department of the Year award was once again handed to the Department of Health Professions.

Historically, Bat Mitzvah’s represents a ceremonial recognition that a young person has reached the age when she is no longer a minor, according to Jewish law, and thereby able to partake in the new religious privileges and responsibilities of an adult. On Bank Holiday Sunday we shot the Bat Mitzvah of Rosy. Rosy’s Bat Mitzvah was held in The Waterside Hotel in Didsbury. The room was dressed impeccably, making it a pleasure to photograph. This special day in young Rosy’s life was attended by family and friends, who had travelled from all over the world to celebrate with her.

Last Saturday we were invited by Caroline's family to shoot her 50th birthday party. Her family, friends and Caroline herself made us very welcome and of course this led to capturing some fantastic moments.

For the first corporate job of the February, we headed to Manchester Central to shoot Gazprom's annual conference. Just to give you a little background on the company: Gazprom Energy is an award winning supplier for gas and electricity to business across the UK. They have a passion for great customer services; have backing from one of the world's largest energy companies; and they pride themselves on being easy to do business with and keeping things simple and clear. This conference was for all of their employees and to discuss how they can improve their services and grow the company further.

Anne-Marie and Mark celebrated an important milestone in their life on Saturday at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. Their joint 21st Birthday was attended by their closest friends and family and the music on the night was provided by Six15 artists.
