Gazprom Annual Conference at Manchester Central

For the first corporate job of the February, we headed to Manchester Central to shoot Gazprom's annual conference. Just to give you a little background on the company: Gazprom Energy is an award winning supplier for gas and electricity to business across the UK. They have a passion for great customer services; have backing from one of the world's largest energy companies; and they pride themselves on being easy to do business with and keeping things simple and clear. This conference was for all of their employees and to discuss how they can improve their services and grow the company further.

We provided the photography throughout the day with on-site editing and publishing key shots for their social media outlets. Here are a selective few from the day:

Anne-Marie & Mark's Joint 21st birthday party at Victoria Warehouse

Anne-Marie and Mark celebrated an important milestone in their life on Saturday at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. Their joint 21st Birthday was attended by their closest friends and family and the music on the night was provided by Six15 artists. North of England Transport Awards at the Midland Hotel

For the first time ever , Transport Times hosted their Transport awards evening outside of the London. The venue for this special event was at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, which for anyone who has visited this venue will know, it is truly spectacular. With over 400 guests attending from across the transport industry, this event was a milestone celebrating the best of transport services in the North of England. This event was hosted by the entertaining BBC presenter Steph McGovern. Here are a small selection of this evening:

Event Photography Manchester: DenPlan's Christmas Party at Whitworth Hall

Another new client for us this year was Denplan. They are the UK’s leading dental plan specialist with over 2 million customers and 6500 member dentists. As you can imagine, their Christmas party was a huge affair with over 400 guests attending the event in Manchester from their offices all over the UK. This meant it was quite a feverish but pleasurable evening to be a part of and photograph. Here are a few of our favorite moments from their fun party:

CommsCare Annual Awards at Victoria Warehouse

Victoria Warehouse has been one of our favorite venues to shoot events in Manchester. Their incredible space and the transformation on each party is always remarkable. Last Saturday we were commissioned by CommsCare to photograph their annual awards party at this venue. With a Gatsby themed dressed venue and props, everyone was having a great time and celebrated their successful year in business.

Boots Best of the Best Awards at Principal Hotel

Last Monday, we covered our biggest ever corporate event to date; this was a huge event to be a part of. The client was Boots and they hosted their annual Best of the Best awards at the Principle Hotel in Manchester, where we had the pleasure of taking photographs. It was a celebration night for the 450+ guests coming from all over the UK, with 5 awards being given out for the best of best stores across the UK. The music entertainment on the night was provided by Rule The World, Take That’s number one tribute band.

The Unlimited Company Store Launch

The Unlimited company, part of Simply Health group, provides a wide range of premium daily living aids and mobility products to support the everyday needs of the elderly and disabled. They launched a new store in Townsmoore Retail Park in Blackburn on Saturday. Their friendly team was on hand to give expert advice to the customers.

Corporate Photography Manchester : British Humanism Association Meeting with Owen Jones

Last month we were invited to shoot BHA’s Holyoake Lecture. This lecture is held each year as part of the BHA’s annual lecture series and it explores political thoughts on humanist issues, such as feminism, anti-racism, LGBT rights and human rights. This lecture was led by Own Jones, who is a regular columnist for The Guardian and has also written for The Independent in the past and is a political activist. This was a fascinating event to be a part of, talking about some very important issues.

TeamGB's Home Coming Parade in Manchester

TeamGB Olympians and Paralympians were in Manchester on Monday evening for their home-coming parade.

The parade started at the Museum of Science and Industry and ended in Manchester’s Town Hall in Albert square where all the athletes gathered on Stage. Kaiser Chiefs started off the proceedings with an energetic performance of their hits including Ruby and Rebecca Ferguson ended the parade by performing Heros (originally by the unforgettable David Bowie).

It was an unforgettable experience, with spirits high despite the miserable rain; the crowds turned out in their thousands to help show their support and gratitude for the dedication these amazing athletes have shown. Although it was a day of celebration, it was also an emotional day, to see such inspirational people doing what they do best.

Lendlease is an international brand, which has offices in New York, London, Singapore and Sydney. They specialize in project management in construction and provide similar services in the construction industry.

Event Photography: Simpson Haugh One Practice Event

Just a little over a week ago, we were invited by one of Manchester’s leading architect firms, Simpson Haugh, to photograph their team-building day. This was event was a little different from the usual corporate events we have photographed in the past. But it was a pleasure to be a part of.

Employees from London and Manchester joined their bosses in Cloud23, Manchester’s favourite sky bar, for a fun filled day. The directors Ian Simpson and Rachel Haugh, began the day by welcoming their staff with an inspiring talk, which was followed by a tour of Ian’s penthouse on the top floor of Beetham Tower. The views from the penthouse of Manchester were spectacular and allowed for some stunning photographs. The staff were then divided into groups and joined a treasure hunt around Manchester.

Lake District Wedding - Kate & John

Rarely cover weddings these days, but this one was for one my colleagues, Kate. The wedding was held at the incredible New House Farm in Cockermouth. The venue was decorated to perfection by Kate, with the greatest attention to detail applied throughout; she'd done a beautiful job! The day started off fairly wet, but come teatime the Great British weather did a u-turn and the grounds of this awesome place were bathed in sunshine! Anyway, enough of my ramblings, here's a few of my favourites from what was a great day.

This was an intimate event with only a very select group of bloggers and their families being invited. Dyson engineers hosted interactive workshops, and science projects show casing the technology that goes into the research and development of their products.
